Consumers

Verify licensure and application status and search for license holders by city or name through the Find a Licensee link.  Licensure verification serves to protect you, as the consumer. Any person providing or advertising architectural, landscape architecturalor certified interior design services and any person using these titles must be licensed or certified by the Board. 

License Holders

The website allows license and certificate holders to renew or reinstate licenses, to update personal information, and to print a certificate of standing. The online system will accept payment by check or credit card. The rules and law are also accessible, as are rule changes.

 

Building Officials

Building Officials can search for license holders through the Find a Licensee link or download the Mississippi Building Officials Guide.

 

Applicants

Applicants can review requirements for licensure/certification and access online applications for examination and licensure. The online system will accept payment by check or credit card.

Rules and Regulations

The Laws and the Rules & Regulations are accessible from this site, as are the Rules and Regulations for each profession. Choose the profession of interest (Architects, Landscape Architects or Certified Interior Designrs) in the navigation tab for the specific regulations.

Complaints

The State of Mississippi has authorized the Board to regulate, enforce and investigate alleged violations of its laws and rules by those practicing architecture, landscape architecture and certified interior design. Any person may file a complaint with the Board for an alleged violation.
